Tri-Stone Trade Publications

Exploring global trade through history and lived experience

From maritime networks and port cities to modern supply chains, this project brings together writing, research, and field observations on how goods move across the world.

Trade is often discussed in abstract terms—flows, volumes, markets—but behind it are very physical systems: ports, ships, warehouses, and the people coordinating them.

Tri-Stone Trade Publications is a personal project focused on understanding those systems from two angles:

  • — a historical perspective, especially maritime trade
  • present-day experience working in international logistics

Featured Focus Areas

Writing & Research

Essays and notes on maritime history, trade networks, and overlooked corners of global logistics.

Projects & Archival Work

Ongoing involvement with maritime history initiatives, including work connected to the China Maritime Museum and independent research projects.

Trade & Industry Observations

Reflections drawn from day-to-day work in Pacific trade—how sourcing decisions, shipping constraints, and geography shape real markets.

Alongside this work, I am professionally active in international shipping, working with businesses across the Pacific Islands—from Tahiti to the Marshall Islands—where supply chains are long, complex, and essential to everyday life.
